Adult and Pediatric Urology

Charles T. King, M.D., F.A.C.S. Raised in New Jersey, Dr. Charles T. King graduated cum laude from Cornell University in 1975 with a bachelor's degree in chemistry and biochemistry. He completed four years of medical school at the University of Florida in 1979, followed by a surgical internship and urology residency at the University of Kentucky. After serving four years as a urologist in the U.S. Air Force Medical Corps, Dr. King and his family returned to north central Florida. He has practiced in Ocala since 1989, serving as Chief of Surgery at the Ocala Regional Medical Center, and on the Munroe Regional Medical Center Board of Directors from 1997 to 2001. Dr. King is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Edward D. King, M.D., F.A.C.S. Originally from Albany, Georgia, Dr. Edward King earned his bachelors degree in biochemistry from Dartmouth College in 1984. After conducting research for two years in the department of Cell Biology at Emory University, he completed medical school at St. Louis’ Washington University in 1990. Dr. King completed a urology residency at the University of Maryland, and joined the Ocala Urology Specialists in 1996. He is the past recipient of a CaPCURE Foundation Award for basic science research on prostate cancer, and is currently president of the medical staff at the Munroe Regional Medical Center. He is a past president of the Marion County Medical Society, and is a past chairman of the Department of Surgery at the Ocala Regional Medical Center. Dr. King's interests include minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery of the kidney and prostate. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
